Audio Books Library has a very large collection of Audio Books for you to choose from. All of our Audio Books have been placed into Audio Book categories as well as into alphabetical order to make it easier for you to find relevant audio book titles, the same as you would find at the local library. All of our Audio books are available for download after purchase. Every Audio Book has a sample for you to listen to prior to purchase or just to listen to while you are browsing our selection of Audio Books. All Audio Book samples are available in either MP3 or WMV audio format. It is important to note that the sample audio book audio files are of a lower audio quality than the actual audio files you will receive after purchasing an audio book, this is to allow access to the audio files for people still running slower internet connections.

All of the Audio books are downloadable and can be used on your Computer, MP3 Player or burnt to disk and used in your favourite walkman or even play them on your home stereo as well as in the car. If you have an iPod you will first need to burn the file to CD and then transfer it into iTunes. All Audio Books are in Digital Format, ready to be Downloaded.

Audio books have been around since the time of the phonograph, when they were recorded on vinyl records and the most popular types of recordings at first were language programs. Yet most people today will associate Audio Books with cassette tapes as well as CD's. Though at the moment it appears that many manufacturers are phasing out cassette tapes in favour of digital format which can be burnt to Cd's as well as stored directly into your music player such as Mp3 players, walkmans and IPods. With the advancement of technology it is now possible to download and listen to your favourite Audio Book much the same way as you would your favourite music track.

Unabridged audio books are word for word readings of a book, while abridged audio books have text edited out or added by the abridger. • Replaying: Depending upon ones degree of attention and interest, it is often necessary to listen to segments of an audio book more than once to allow the material to be understood and retained satisfactorily. Replaying may be done immediately, and also after extended periods of time.

• Learning: A person may listen to an audio book usually an unabridged one while following along in the actual book. This helps the person to learn words they may not learn correctly if they were to just read the book.
